About Schnebly Winery<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

What’s your favorite wine? If you’re a fan of white wines, then there’s a good chance that you will find something from Schnebly Winery <\/a>to love. This winery is located in the heart of South Florida and makes exotic fruit wines with ingredients like avocados, lychee and starfruit. You can drink these chilled any time of year!<\/p>\n\n

The Redlands is the perfect place to make exotic tropical fruit wines. The soil is rich with nutrients and produces fruit and vegetables that are packed with bright flavor. In the heart of The Redlands is Homestead, where Schnebly Winery was founded by Peter and Denisse Schnebly, a couple who fell in love with exotic fruit wines after starting to make them from all of the fruit and vegetables they were farming. Sustainable farming became a top priority as Schnebly wines are made from only the finest fruit. Each mango, lychee, guava, passion fruit and Carambola is personally picked for fermentation.<\/p>\n\n

And thus, these wines are not only delicious, but they are literally farm-to-table wines, made with the finest ingredients!<\/p>\n\n

Now that you know a little bit of the background, it’s time to highlight some of our favorite Schnebly Wines. This, time, we’re doing WHITE WINES, including the very first wine made from avocados – it doesn’t get much more exotic than that!<\/p>\n\n

The Whites<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n

– AvoVino<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n

The first wine ever made from Avocados. You may ask yourself, why Avocado wine? The most important aspect of any world-class wine is the acid within the fruit. When making Schnebly’s Florida Avocado Wine, the oils separate during fermentation, yielding a beautiful light acid. This wine exhibits a citrus pear nose and refreshing hints of grapefruit on the palate, with a beautiful lingering finish.<\/p>\n\n

– Carambola Wine<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n

More popularly known as Starfruit, this tropical delicacy is known for its exotic shape and crisp juicy flavors. Careful grove management coupled with harvesting at optimal ripeness is the key to enjoying this wine. The vinification process in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks imparts fresh floral and citric flavors reminiscent of apples and pears. This Carambola Wine is comparable to a Pinot Grigio and is clean and fresh.<\/p>\n\n

CocoVino<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n

CocoVino exhibits an oaky nose and refreshing hints of coconut and lemongrass on the palate, with a long buttery finish. This wine pairs excellently with a delicately prepared fish, pasta, and white meat dish. This beautiful craft wine is recipient of a gold medal at the 2006 Lone Star International Wine Competition! – GuaVino<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n

The beauty of Schnebly Winery’s GuaVino is found in its bold aroma, refined yet balanced. It showcases elegant bouquets of orange blossom, honeysuckle and Meyer lemon.<\/p>\n\n

Lychee Wine<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n

Schnebly Winery’s most award-winning lychee wine is a sweet full-bodied wine with gewurztraminer characteristics and Riesling notes. Its all natural sugar exhibits a bracing fresh finish. As the largest producer of lychees in the US, Peter and Denisse Schnebly personally select only the best fruit to include in this wine!<\/p>\n\n

– Mango Wine<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n

The Mango wine is not too sweet, and it\u2019s very smooth. Hints of mango in the front of your palate with a subtle finish. This wine has a light delicate fruit taste with a nice soft finish. You will notice hints of melon, sweet mango and peach flavors on the palate. It has a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity and is comparable to a White Zinfandel.<\/p>\n\n

– Sweet Avocado<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n

This fun wine has a refreshing lemon zest nose and a flavor that reminds you of a sunny fun day in the Florida Keys. As a large producer of amazing avocados in their own, each fruit is carefully selected to create this amazing wine!<\/p>\n\n
