Relive the amazing, once-in-a-lifetime metal experience that we hosted at Schnebly Winery! Metallica!

The coronavirus pandemic has impacted the way we live life and go by our day by day activities, and concerts and live events have suffered the most from it. This is why this incredible idea by Encore Drive In Nights has been so amazing!

This past August 29th we held the first of many Encore Drive In nights at our winery, where Metallica recorded a never before seen FULL SET, featuring material spanning their near 40 year career, edited and mixed by their award winning production team. A show that was filmed EXCLUSIVELY for this one night only event, shown at hundreds of drive-in outdoor theatres across the United States and Canada. Schnebly Winery was so proud to be one of them!

This was the band’s first show of 2020, and it is sure to go down in history as one of the most unique and memorable Metallica experiences of all time! Completely unprecedented! 

Three Days Grace opened the show as the special guest appearance and made sure to warm up the crowds, who were amped up for the experience with friends inside the car, and were able to enjoy specially set food trucks full of Schnebly Winery wine and beer to get the rock n’ roll going!

We set a special drive-in theatre in our Winery, and had an amazing experience together, safely and socially distanced. Metallica fans were even able to enjoy the music and the experience from the roof of their cars, rocking inside, or outside on the lawn sipping on some wine. 

It truly was an unforgettable experience! We cannot wait to host even more drive-in concerts, safely, together.
